Muskegon Bike Time Announces Musical Acts New Attractions and Ticket Sales
“Music, Motorcycles, Motocross and More to Highlight Bike Time 2015”
MUSKEGON, Mich., May 15, 2015 –Muskegon Bike Time has announced this year’s lineup of musical acts and attractions scheduled to take place July 16 – 19, 2015 at Muskegon Bike Time’s expanded location at 4800 S. Harvey Street, Muskegon, MI.
Headlining on the festival’s main stage on Saturday night, July 18, will be Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Lynyrd Skynyrd. These cultural icons have a catalog of over 60 albums including the beloved classic American rock anthems “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Free Bird” which span generations. Some of their many other hits include “Simple Man”, “Gimme Three Steps”, “Tuesday’s Gone”, “That Smell”, and “Saturday Night Special”. Lynyrd Skynyrd is the definitive Southern rock band, fusing the overdriven power of blues-rock with a rebellious Southern image and a hard rock swagger.
On Friday night, July 17, 2015, The Fabulous Thunderbirds will grace the main stage. For over 30 years, The Fabulous Thunderbirds have been the quintessential American band. The group’s distinctive and powerful sound, influenced by a diversity of musical styles, manifests itself into a unique musical hybrid via such barnburner hits as “Tuff Enuff” and “Wrap It Up”. Co-founder Kim Wilson, still spearheads the group.
On Thursday, July 16, 2015, Night Ranger will kick off the festival with its special brand of hard driving rock and roll. The band has sold over 17 million records which include rock anthems, “(You Can Still) Rock in America” and “Sister Christian”. Other hits include, “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me”, “When You Close Your Eyes” and “Sentimental Street”.
In addition to Main Stage performances, there will be three beverage tents that will be providing the best local live music around and ice cold Budweiser products. Local musical favorites will include the West Side Soul Surfers, Yard Sale Underwear, Let There Be Rock and Delilah Dewilde and the Lost Boys, to mention a few.
Muskegon Bike Time will use its expanded venue to add a variety of motorcycle races and stunt shows.
On Saturday, July 18, 2015, Bike Time hosts round 8 of the SJO Productions Village Motorsports Michigan State Fair Super Cross Series. A motocross track that incorporates man made jumps and turns as well as the natural terrain will be built for the races. Over 300 “dirt bikes” are expected to battle for prize money and coveted series points in 28 different classes.
Throughout the four day Muskegon Bike Time event several stunt teams will be performing.
On Friday and Saturday, World Champion, Scott Murray, one of only four riders in the world to successfully land a double back flip on a motorcycle in the X games, will be performing at this year’s Bike Time event.
The “Sick Air Show” with Murray and his team of pilots will “rock your world” with their gnarly FMX acrobatics as they contort themselves while flying 30’ up in the air. You’ll get chills watching the big tricks such as superman seat grabs, rock solids, KOD’s and of course backflips. You won’t want to miss this show by some of the best pilots in the industry.
Also on Friday and Saturday only, King Tony’s Busted Knuckles Stunt Tour — An All Harley-Davidson Stunt Show will perform two shows each day
The Busted Knuckles Stunt Tour is a kick ass, v-twin thrill show performed solely on Harley-Davidson motorcycles. These American Daredevils perform stunts that include wheelies, acrobatics, burnouts, jumps, and pyro. Every show is unique and different. A loud and energetic crowd fuels their fire so the louder the crowd gets, the wilder they get! Exciting, crazy, fun and just bad to the bone are a few words their fans use to describe the Busted Knuckles Stunt Tour.
Performing twice a day for the four day run of the festival is RELENTLESS STUNTS MOTORCYCLE SHOW. This motorcycle stunt team will have you on the edge of your seat with nonstop action performing wheelies, smoking tires, and performing tons of crazy “must see to believe” acrobatics.
PHOENIX RISING, professional fire artists, will combine music, performance art, dance, drama and fire into an apocalyptic performance combining the fashion sense of Mad Max with the spectacle and special effects of Las Vegas. This one-of-a-kind show was designed specifically for Bike Time and will be performed nightly after the main stage concerts.
Tickets to the four day event will go on sale on Friday, May 15, 2015 at. A Weekend Pass Special is available for only $30, while a limited quantity last. Normal ticket prices will be $40 for a weekend pass, $20 daily pass for Thursday and Friday, and $25 for Saturday. Sunday will be free. Children 11 years old and under are free. Parking is free.

The property at Harvey Street, formerly known to locals as the Great Lakes Downs Racetrack property, is owned by the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, the group that also owns Little River Casino in Manistee, MI. Little River Casino is a major sponsor of Muskegon Bike Time. Motorcycle parking and the entire venue is paved and being improved to provide a great customer experience.
